Springfield Golf Club Sponsors

Sponsorship plays a very important role in the survival and future development of any sports club, which is never more evident than here at by all concerned if members would consider using these sponsors or at least give them the opportunity to quote or price their services.

Millennium Hotel

The Millennium Hotel Rotorua is a member of the CMK Hotels group that has franchises throughout the country.  Visitors are encouraged to utilize the special package on offer and enjoy deluxe accommodation and some fine golf at Rotorua’s championship golf course, Springfield.

The Millennium sponsors the member’s club handbook, and provides the club with meal vouchers for a lucky draw every night of Twilight Golf during summer.

Rotorua Toyota

Rotorua Toyota is the local franchise of Toyota New Zealand.  The company supplies the club with a utility vehicle for the green staff to use mainly around the course but also to pick up materials etc around town.  They have also assisted the pennant sides and the Interclub team with vehicles whenever the teams have required transport to venues.

Bay Business Centre

The BBC has been an excellent sponsor for the club by way of providing a Copier Machine with a full service contract for the office staff and general club use.

Herbs Place

Herbs Place is one of the finest restaurants in Rotorua and proprietor Richard           Sewell has provided vouchers for the club to use as prizes.  Herbs has recently     taken up the sponsorship, also by way of a dinner voucher, for a Hole in One on the         9th hole – restricted to club members only.

Sudima Hotel Rotorua

The manager of the Sudima Hotel, Harry Salisbury, has been an excellent supporter of Springfield and for the past seven years has sponsored the annual Mixed          Foursomes held in August, a popular event that has been on the club calendar for          40 years.  The Sudima Hotel offers an excellent golfing/accommodation package for visitors to Rotorua.

Top Timber Products

            Long serving club member Dave Harris owns this timber supply business selling his             products throughout the local community.  Dave is very generous to the club       providing timber and wood products for use around the course and clubhouse.

Chubb Security

            After a series of burglaries in the trundler shed the club asked Chubb Security to       install a secure door locking system to protect members clubs.  This was done at a     minimal cost and is maintained free of charge by local manager Zane Weyde.
